Knowing Tyler, the Creator is a massive fan of the Clipse and has long considered Pharrell Williams one of his idols, the rapper made it a point to go into perfectionist mode to ensure he didn't mess up his feature on Let God Sort Em Out.

Tyler, The Creator explained how being “nervous” about a recent collaboration resulted in him recording his verse multiple times. While speaking on the Hot 97 radio show, the California rapper explained that he re-recorded his "P.O.V." verse "79 to 100 times" for the Clipse’s Let God Sort Em Out album and almost backed out of the project.
