Australian cyclist Kaden Groves has sprinted to victory in a chaotic sixth stage of the Giro d'Italia that had be neutralized following a massive crash.

Mads Pedersen continued his domination of sprint finishes at the Giro d'Italia by narrowly winning stage five on Wednesday, his third stage victory of this year's race which extended the Danish rider's overall lead.

The climbing properly begins on stage six with 2,500m for the sprinters to get over before the expected fast finale
