The MLB trade deadline is less than two weeks away, and the divisional races are heating up. One of the most competitive is in the National League Central, where the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs enter the new week with identical 59-40 records, tied atop the standings.

The Brewers made history with a 6-0 sweep of the Dodgers, extending their win streak to 10 and climbing to the top of the NL Central.

The Brewers rank seventh in MLB in runs scored. They rank third in MLB in rotation ERA. They rank 10th in MLB in Defensive Efficiency Rating, or the percentage of balls in play that the defense converts into outs. They lead the majors in base-running runs above average, according to FanGraphs.

The Brewers drafted 22 players over the course of 20 rounds in the 2025 MLB Draft. The team now has until 4 p.m. CT on July 28 to sign each draft pick. We’ll keep track of the signees below.
