Bio Green Papers is set to be renamed String Metaverse in conjunction with its upcoming public offering, facilitated by Spacenet Enterprises LTD. For the offering to proceed, the listing price must exceed the company's Rs10 face value.

Network18 Media and Investment’s merger with TV18 and E18 has been approved by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), according to latest news reports. The move comes ahead of the impending merger between Reliance Industries’ Viacom18 and Walt Disney’s Star India.

The NCLT recalled its approval of the Zee Entertainment and Sony Pictures merger after both parties agreed to withdraw due to a settlement. The merger scheme is now terminated, and legal claims against each other have been withdrawn.

Zee, which applied for withdrawal of the said order, submitted that the Composite Scheme of the Merger Cooperation Agreement which formed the framework to execute the scheme for Zee-Sony merger stood terminated and accordingly the closing date has not occurred and the scheme has not attained any effectiveness.

The Mumbai bench of NCLT had recalled its August 10, 2023, order, approving the merger between Zee and Sony. The withdrawal was based on the “mutual consent” of both parties, who settled their dispute and passed resolutions to withdraw the merger scheme.
