Hollywood stars Matt Damon and Tom Holland have been filming scenes for their new movie The Odyssey in Scotland. Directed by Christopher Nolan, the movie is based on a poem written almost 3,000 years ago about Greek hero Odysseus and his journey home after years away at war.

Jason Faulkner, a former South Lodge Primary and Invergordon Academy pupil, was on hand at Inverness Airport earlier today to ensure a fitting Highland farewell for film star Matt Damon who has been in the area filming The Odyssey. Also spotted at the Highland airport this morning was the film’s Oscar-winning director, Christopher Nolan.
