The stretch of the highway along the Pacific Ocean between Santa Monica and Malibu reopened to regular traffic. Some local officials believe it is too soon.

Just a day after fully reopening for the first time in weeks, Pacific Coast Highway will close again Tuesday in anticipation of back-to-back storms set to roll through Southern California that could potentially cause landslides in areas recently burned by the Palisades Fire.

Efforts are well underway to clean up debris flows caused by storms that rolled through SoCal as well as mitigate damage that could potentially be caused by future rainfall.  KTLA 5's Carlos Herrera reports.
