A man in Philadelphia opened fire on a 15-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman, the Philadelphia Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE. Both are in stable condition.

When officers knocked at the unidentified suspect’s apartment at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, the suspect opened the door with a raised handgun, according to the police department.

Ricardo Baez, the 35-year-old shot to death in a suspected case of road rage, leaves behind three brothers and two children, a 12-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter. “Receiving that phone call was the most terrifying moment of my life,” said Ramon Baez, Ricardo’s oldest brother.

A man was shot and killed near a Valero gas station on the Southeast Side of Bexar County in a road rage incident; the shooter fled and is sought by authorities.
