Amid Trump's second term, Women's March organizers across the U.S. are prompting people to unite with calls to action.

People marked International Women's Day on Saturday, including in several U.S. cities where demonstrators protested against President Donald Trump and his administration.

About 300 demonstrations were scheduled across the United States. Organizers said that Americans eager to protest considered the occasion an appropriate time to rally.

As women and their supporters marched around Union Square, the issues being forwarded this year had a broader feel than usual.
