AT&T has introduced SplitPay, a new payment option that lets those sharing a phone plan with others split their payment line-by-line, so no one person has to pay the entire bill. The company says the program is available for “select postpaid wireless plans,” and that those using SplitPay can still get multi-line discounts.

AT&T has introduced a new feature for postpaid subscribers that makes it incredibly easy to share plans with others and stay on top of bill payments.

SplitPay can calculate and divide monthly bills automatically. "Account owners remain responsible for the total bill amount due," AT&T says. "But don’t worry, we’ll even follow up with the account owner before the due date if someone hasn’t paid their share."

Go to AT&T SplitPay. You may be accessed to sign in if you haven't already. Choose who the primary payer is. This is typically the account holder. Whoever it is has the responsibility to make sure the entire bill is paid each month, even in the event of other payers defaulting.
