In an effort to meet a surge in demand for REAL IDs ahead of the May enforcement deadline, the Illinois Secretary has announced a new supercenter in Chicago as well as expanded hours at a handful of DMVs around the state.

The nation's first REAL ID supercenter is now open in Chicago and it's gonna make getting one of the new IDs easier for everyone.

With less than two months left until a Real ID will be required to board domestic flights and enter secure federal buildings, a “supercenter” has opened its doors in the Chicago Loop, aiming to expedite the process for thousands of residents trying to update their IDs.
