A person was struck by a vehicle and killed during a hit-and-run pedestrian crash Monday in Detroit, police said. The incident was reported about 4:30 a.m. in the area of Joy Road and Central Avenue, the Detroit Police Department said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
