Off-Duty Glendale, CA, Firefighter Charged with Killing Wife with Axe
An off-duty Glendale firefighter who helped battle the Palisades Fire, is accused of using an axe to kill his wife. Glendale Firefighter/Paramedic Andrew Jimenez, 45, is being held on $2 million bail. Jimenez walked into a Los Angeles police station about 4 a.m. Wednesday and asked officers to do a welfare check on his wife, KTLA reported.
