Go Tejano Day at RodeoHouston celebrates mariachi tradition with performances, a competition and cultural events that attract record crowds.

On March 7, the NRG Stadium was packed with occupants in celebration of Black Heritage Day at Rodeo Houston. The big event honored the continued contributions of African Americans to Western culture, highlighting the history and legacy of Black cowboys with activities and performances throughout the day.

Monday is St. Patrick’s Day, which means that people will be either walking around in green, drinking green beer, or both. Before that happens, many non-St. Patty’s Day events will be going down this weekend.
