The last day of your Part B IEP The IEP is the initial enrollment period for Medicare, whether Original Medicare or Part C. ICEP is the initial enrollment period specifically for Part C.
During this time, a person can first join a Part C plan if they choose it over Original Medicare. The confusion between ICEP and IEP may stem from the fact that they occur at the same time.
