Kendo Nagasaki (Peter Thornley) has been wrestling in the British wrestling scene for 60 years, becoming a star in the 1970s thanks to his involvement in ITV's World of Sport television programme.

Thornley will not be appearing on Sunday as a Stoke octogenarian but as his alter ego, Kendo Nagasaki – the sword-toting Samurai villain who helped to make British wrestling a sensation.
