Saquon Barkley made a winning move long before heading to New Orleans for his first Super Bowl. The Philadelphia Eagles’ gravity-defying running back recently revealed he proposed to his girlfriend of more than eight years, Anna Congdon. And Congdon, who shares two children with the star player, said yes.

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley nearly had the single-season rushing record locked up in 2024. With Philadelphia's playoff positioning locked up, though, the decision was made for him to rest for the playoffs instead of trying to etch his name into the history books.

Barkley got his start at Whitehall High School in Whitehall, Pennsylvania, where he was also a star running back for the Whitehall Zephyrs. He came to know the Hartmans because Bob Hartman, Maisey and Zack's father, is the athletic director at Whitehall.
