I honestly think that anyone who thinks that Apple is getting out of desktop computing is ignoring things like Thunderbolt. I know it can seem that they're focussing a lot on iOS devices, but it's really not to the exclusion of everything else, and they certainly wouldn't go around introducing new PC bus technologies if they were going to phase out desktops a year later.
