Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray won't be under center for Monday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Kyler Murray will not start for the Arizona Cardinals at quarterback against Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 9, Jonathan Gannon said.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett will start Monday's game against the host Dallas Cowboys, head coach Jonathan Gannon announced Saturday. Gannon also said quarterback Kyler Murray could "have a role" in the game as he works his way back from a foot injury.

Veteran backup Jacoby Brissett will start his third straight game at quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys while Kyler Murray continues to recover from a lingering foot injury.
