A South Florida teen’s private group chat on Instagram led to an FBI investigation and charges for making alleged violent threats.

In court, Hernandez-Padron's attorney argued that the posts, made on a private Instagram story, were intended as a joke and not meant to be taken seriously. Hernandez-Padron had this to say upon his release from jail on Monday evening, "It was a joke, it was supposed to be a joke, but it got taken to something literal," he told CBS News Miami.

Florida men’s basketball assistant coach Taurean Green was accused of sexual assault in a complaint filed by a UF athletics department employee, ESPN’s Paula Lavigne reported. The news comes as the university is also investigating head coach Todd Golden for alleged Title IX violations.
