WASHINGTON (AP) — Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is cohosting a reception with billionaire Republican donors next week for Donald Trump’s inauguration, the latest sign of the Facebook founder’s embrace of the president-elect.
Zuckerberg later became less vocally critical of Trump. Following the 2024 election, he donated $1 million to his inaugural committee and dined at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida in late November, the Associated Press reported.
Even last year, Zuckerberg dined with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, marking a notable shift in their historically tense relationship.
