The UK government is considering intervening in Paramount's $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery due to concerns about media plurality and competition, with a decision expected after 6 July.
UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said she is minded to intervene on public interest grounds. Her concerns center on whether the deal could affect media plurality and control of major media assets in the UK.
