Google wants to make sweeping changes to sideloading on Android, and it seems very Apple-inspired. Frankly, I think it would be a disaster that makes me reconsider what phones I buy.

Living with both Android and Apple isn’t about picking a side. It’s about choosing to make it work. And if we can do it without tossing a phone out the window (so far), anyone can.
