The Maine Attorney General’s Office confirmed to WABI on Monday that they have filed a motion to try Deven Young, 17, of Frankfort, as an adult for the murder of Sunshine Stewart, 48.
As the court process moves forward, it's unclear whether the Attorney General's Office will request that Deven Young be tried as an adult.
