Good morning! Today is a First Alert Weather Day for gusty winds. Yesterday’s cold front has moved offshore, with high pressure building in from the Deep South. This will promote wind gusts up to 30 MPH throughout the day. Because of this, a Lake Wind Advisory is in effect for the Midlands.

It will start off very windy and chilly this morning with temperatures in the 20s and 30s, but feeling several degrees colder than that thanks to the wind chill. Highs will only reach the upper 40s to low 50s this afternoon. It will get sunnier as the day goes on and the wind will die down later today, too. Lows fall to the mid 30s overnight.
