Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday declared a 30-hour Easter truce with Ukraine through Sunday night, but Ukraine's President said late Saturday on X that "Russian strikes persist."

Fighting continued in Russia's border regions of Kursk and Belgorod despite President Vladimir Putin's declaration of a Eastern ceasefire, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said.

The Ukrainian President said Kyiv would adhere to the 30-hour truce, but accused Moscow of having already broken it.
