A$AP Relli may have lost the criminal trial, but he’s not backing down in his assault and battery lawsuit against A$AP Rocky over the same 2021 incident.

Relli is still pursuing a civil case against ASAP Rocky. Rolling Stone reports that Relli is moving forward with the assault and battery lawsuit, even though Rocky was found not guilty in the criminal trial.

The criminal and civil cases accuse A$AP Rocky of shooting a firearm at Relli as the men engaged in a heated argument in Hollywood in November 2021. The criminal trial found Relli arguing that he was grazed by one of the bullets from the gun that Rocky had, while the rapper asserted that the firearm was “a prop gun.”

A jury of his peers may have found A$AP Rocky not guilty of shooting his former associate, but A$AP Relli isn’t giving up on the case and will continue to pursue legal action against the “RIOT” rapper.

A$AP Rocky was found not guilty on two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm stemming from an argument with childhood friend and bandmate Terell Ephron — also known as A$AP Relli — in 2021. A jury in Los Angeles came to the verdict on Tuesday after five hours of deliberation.

According to a report Rolling Stone published on Wednesday, February 26, an attorney for Ephron told Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge William Fahey there are no plans to drop his civil lawsuit against the "Tailor Swif" rapper even after a jury found him not guilty in his criminal trial.
