As part of the 2025 International Games, the Los Angeles Chargers will play as the designated team in São Paulo at Corinthians Arena, home to Brazilian soccer team SC Corinthians, on Friday night of Week 1 of the 2025 regular season.

The NFL will play a regular season game in Brazil for a second consecutive year with Sao Paulo the site of the contest that will be held during the opening week of the 2025 campaign, the league said on Wednesday.

The Chargers are set to host the Indianapolis Colts next season, but with the Colts designated as the home team for the NFL's first regular-season game Berlin, Germany, they're out of the mix. Same goes for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who will be the home team when the league goes to Dublin, Ireland for the first time.
