A man charged with attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump in South Florida last year was back in court this week, asking a federal judge to let him represent himself.

A 79-year-old Florida man died on Mount Washington last week after wandering away from the summit and falling down a “steep, rocky slope,” officials said. The body of William Davis, of Jacksonville, Fla., was found Friday after a three-day search, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department said.
