Jan 31, 2022 · I've never had an ASUS GPU, but I've had several ASUS Motherboards, laptops, tablets. Nothing lasted more than 3 years without issues. My main desktop computer had an ASUS Motherboard, top of the line X99-Deluxe. it had some slight but workable issues after year one, after 5 years it just flat out died and is un-repairable.

Apr 30, 2023 · The 4070 does use less power, typically 160-180 during gaming. The 2070 used 200-230. At least according to GPU-Z. But what matters is the cooling. The EVGA XC3 was a high end build, the ASUS Dual and Gigabyte Windforce aren't. Gigabytes mounting screw holes are smaller than EVGA and ASUS. In the one PC it fit in, the Gigabyte was quieter.

Jul 20, 2023 · It's stupid and counterintuitive af. But then again we're talking asus here, so im not surprised lol. Why would you have a red led on (which in 90% of cases when it comes to pc building means there's an issue) instead of actually doing the opposite, like if the cable is fully seated and the gpu has the right amount of power the led turns off.

Mar 14, 2024 · -you want a more silent GPU with no compromises and lower temps -you don't want to bother with adjusting anything -you want a peaceful life without worrying about your GPU-s temperature then I recommend a 3 fan version of this card. Gainward Panther, Gigabyte Gaming OC (avoid windforce!), etc. Maybe the normal Asus Dual not the EVO.
