I have an MSI GS66 and MSI has a software called MSI Dragon Center and under the General Settings there's a GPU Switch and I just choose Discrete Graphics Mode. Now my nvidia control panel shows my 2nd monitor and my laptop monitor.

Dec 30, 2022 · Make sure you install the Arc graphics drivers. When I first plugged in the card on my build and booted I was shocked to not see the GPU section on Task Manager. It was running on Intel Generic Display. But of course that was because I hadn't installed the Arc drivers yet.

Though the card will idle at 30-40watts unless you use Intel’s guide to set a settings in windows and one in bios. I had dual monitors one at 60hz and the other at 70hz and Intel’s guide worked, Idled at 5-15 watts.

Mar 30, 2022 · I had a bad experience with amd and Intel. now after switching back to nvidia, which I’ve always used, my pc runs much smoother. Not to say it’s a compatibility issue but probably preference. Also amd GPUs have a feature that can be used with amd CPUs (smart access memory) and Intel released something similar afterwards (resizable bar).

Feb 1, 2022 · Looking for a discrete graphics card for Intel NUC 9 Extreme (NUC9I7QNX1). I know that video cards that fit in must be “mini” to fit. RTX 3060 Ti Mini supposedly fits but is impossible to find unless purchased from scalpers. Can someone recommend any discrete graphics card that fits in and that may be possible to be purchased ?

Jun 7, 2023 · Intel has come a long way in terms of their Arc drivers. As per Techspot's re-review of A750 and A770, Intel shows promising performance. Considering the price drop AMD 6650XT and 6700XT have seen, they are still bang for the buck when compared to both 3060 Ti and A770. A770 does have VRAM advantage though.

I have an Intel Arc A380 (AsRock A380 Challenger ITX) and I can confirm hardware transcoding now works in Plex Media Server using the current (as at 11 May 2023) Plex Pass Docker image in Ubuntu Server 23.04 with kernel 6.2.
