Arab Americans (Arabic: عَرَبٌ أَمْرِيكِا, romanized: ʻArab Amrīkā or Arabic: العرب الأمريكيون, romanized: al-ʻArab al-Amrīkīyūn) are Americans who trace ancestry to any of the various waves of immigrants from the Arabic-speaking countries.

From raising funds for humanitarian aid during WWI and protesting U.S.-led wars in Arab countries, to supporting environmental issues, women’s rights and racial equity, Arab Americans have fought for progress for more than a century.
