Dec 11, 2024 · Ninja Gaiden 3 RE was one of those games I expected to be far worse (I imagine the RE version fixed a lot of the initial complaints) but at the same time often found to be quite frustrating. Jan 25, 2025 · Ninja Gaiden has always played better than Devil May Cry, and I say this as an obsessive fan of both franchises. In the case of Ninja Gaiden 2 (any incarnation, really) versus DMC 5, the fluidity of the combat, environment and enemy variety, and moment to moment pacing of NG2 outclasses DMC 5 handily in every single way.
