Why we don’t regret making Lake Atitlán a day trip We almost skipped it. Originally, we planned to split our 5 days between Antigua and El Paredón - but travel FOMO won, and we woke up at 3AM to drive to Lake Atitlán before heading back to Antigua. Was it rushed? Yes.
