The death of Colin Powell due to complications from COVID came as a shock to many, and it's bringing up questions and concerns about others being treated for cancer, who have compromised immune systems. Powell had multiple myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells which make antibodies that protect you. Dr. Anthony Cardillo explains, that although Powell was vaccinated, his body wasn't able to mount a strong enough immune response because at baseline, his immunity was impaired. Dr. Cardillo says these a
