Music is a form of therapy because it engages creative parts of the brain to motivate and soothe. Sometimes listening to a song that resonates with a psychological theme in your life can lead to “aha” moments that can become breakthroughs at certain points in your life. Listening to music everyday is a form of self care that most people can utilize. In my work with adolescents, we sometimes listen to music together to see the themes that jump out and this is a way to start discussing things that
