Earlier this spring, Emilio Estevez and Martin Sheen emailed me out of the blue. I didn’t know it, but it turns out they’ve been fans of my guidebooks and TV shows for years. My love of Spain helped inspire their travels and, indirectly, an amazing movie they made about the Camino de Santiago. That movie, The Way, is being re-released in a thousand theaters across the US tomorrow (Tuesday, May 16, www.fathomevents.com/events/The-Way-Movie) — and they invited me to film a special extra with them.
