An Asian palm civet was recently spotted feeding on red silk-cotton flowers in Yingjiang County, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province. The civet is a nocturnal animal and an avid lover of fruits like chiku, mangoes, bananas, rambutan, papayas and the sap from the flowers of sugar palm trees.
