The first hit at 7:15 a.m. with a magnitude of 5.6, followed by a 5.1 at 7:26, and another 5.0 at 7:33. Depths ranged from 10 to 42 kilometers, rattling the Iwate coastline and waking residents across northeastern Honshu. No tsunami alert has been issued yet, but monitoring stations remain on high alert for aftershocks or sea-level
