Last week, Merced County officially opened the new Kibby Road Bridge following a months-long replacement project. The Kibby Road Bridge crosses Bear Creek and provides a vital connection between State Route 140 and north Merced, serving approximately 1,400 vehicles per day. Originally constructed in 1972, the former bridge experienced weather-related wear and deterioration over time, ultimately requiring full replacement to ensure safety and reliability for motorists. #MercedCountyRoads | Merced
