We asked our nominees to share with us their earliest memories of the Oscars. From Trevor Jimenez, whose short film “Weekends” is nominated for Best Animated Short: “Probably watching with my Mom- we'd watch a lot of movies together and would usually watch the Oscars at our home. I remember seeing "Philadelphia" in the theater with her, and maybe my awareness of the Oscars started around then, because I remember watching Tom Hanks win Best Actor for that film as well as Forrest Gump. | The Acade
